The internet is increasingly accessed by newer devices such as tablets and mobiles. Google now allows conversion of Flash ads into HTML5 with a single mouse click through AdWords. This feature has been launched initially for the iPad, but Google will provide the same for other tablets and mobile devices within the next few months.
You can create a matching HTML5 version of any Flash ad in the Image Ad Upload section of AdWords. This will enable an HTML5 ad to run along with your Flash version on iPads currently before it is released to run across various devices and platforms in the future. You need to tick the box that mentions “Save HTML5 ad in addition to Flash ad” in the “New image ad” section of AdWords.
Google has introduced several new products to make it easier to advertise on mobiles such as its Rich Media Designs for Mobile.
