Google has introduced several changes to its Analytics Administrative settings that are sure to help improve user experience in a noticeable way. If you are a Google Analytics user then in the near future, you will notice the changes in the form of a new landing page screen that clubs together all your main settings for instant accessibility.
The new settings are now offered in the form of columns such as properties, accounts, and views [previously labeled as profiles]. These objects form the most important part of any Analytics account and you will now be able to make changes to any single account, property, or view by using drop-down menus located at the top of each column.
Google has considered future use in mind while renaming profiles to views, which now allows you to view all data Analytics related to your property. In addition, Google has made several other enhancements as mentioned below…
Creating new accounts is easy since clicking on the column heading will enable you to view and use the option of creating a new account
You can click on any suitable name or icon to load the settings page
New animations help display information in an easier way
New Headers as well as Navigational links are now available on the left side of your screen
You can get the all new and refreshed Help content from the “Help” tab located on the top right side of your screen
A single click is all that is needed to go to property settings, which in the past required three clicks
Google will launch the much improved Google Analytics Administrative settings to users in the coming weeks. The new interface should help you configure your accounts quickly, simplify navigation, and essentially get all settings right at your fingertips.
